White Line Disease

Postby Viki on Tue Nov 10, 2009 12:49 pm

I am battling this in an older mare now. She does have misshapen feet from lack of care in her youth. Her coming up very lame is how the problem was discovered. Will this be a problem the rest of her life now? I understand she can be trimmed in such a way to help?

Thanks!

Viki, this is one of the best articles about White Line Disease by Pete Ramey. If you haven't been to his website and read his articles it would be worth a visit.
